Pied Bleu mushrooms, also known as Blue Foot mushrooms, are medium-sized fungi with a distinctive flattened, round cap and a thick, sturdy stem. The cap is smooth and firm, with a creamy hue and tightly packed, wavy purple gills beneath it.
The stem is dense, thick, and adorned with deep lilac tones, exuding a fragrant aroma. When cooked, it offers a silky, velvety texture with an earthy, woodsy flavor that makes it truly unique.
